2. Eligibility
BHUDEVI V1 is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older.

3. Account Registration and OTP Authentication
BHUDEVI uses mobile-number-based authentication with a one-time password (OTP).
You are responsible for:

Providing accurate information during registration and profile updates.
Informing BHUDEVI if you believe your account has been accessed or used without authorization.
BHUDEVI may restrict or suspend accounts where misuse, fraudulent activity, or violation of these Terms is identified.
4. Farmer Profile Information
During registration or profile management, BHUDEVI may collect information such as:

Age
Gender
Mobile number
Village
Taluk
Number of acres
Crop grown
You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is reasonably accurate and up to date.
5. Camera, Gallery and Plant/Crop Images
BHUDEVI may allow you to capture or select plant/crop images using the device camera or permitted photo/gallery functionality for the purpose of agricultural image analysis.
You are responsible for ensuring that images submitted through BHUDEVI:
Relate to agricultural or plant/crop analysis.
Do not contain unlawful or harmful content.
Do not intentionally contain another person's private or sensitive information without appropriate permission.
BHUDEVI may process submitted images through its AI systems to provide the requested analysis.
6. Artificial Intelligence Analysis
BHUDEVI uses artificial intelligence technology to analyze plant and crop images and provide information relating to possible plant conditions.
AI-generated results may include:
Plant or crop identification
Possible disease or condition
Scientific name
English and/or Kannada names
Observed symptoms
Confidence information
General recommendations
Preventive or agricultural suggestions
AI analysis is provided as assistance and information, not as a guaranteed professional agricultural diagnosis.
AI systems can make mistakes, produce incomplete results, or be unable to identify a condition from an image.
If BHUDEVI cannot determine a result with sufficient confidence, the application may indicate uncertainty and allow you to try another scan.
7. Agricultural Disclaimer
Information provided through BHUDEVI is intended to assist farmers with agricultural decision-making.
BHUDEVI does not guarantee that:
An AI result is completely accurate.
A plant condition has been conclusively diagnosed.
A recommendation will produce a particular agricultural outcome.
Weather or other external information will always be accurate or available.
Farmers should use appropriate professional agricultural services, agricultural officers, agronomists, laboratories, or other qualified experts where professional assessment is required.
You remain responsible for decisions made based on information obtained through BHUDEVI.
8. Recommendations
Recommendations generated by BHUDEVI are intended to provide general agricultural assistance.
Recommendations may be based on available image information and AI analysis and may not account for every field-specific factor.
Users should consider relevant factors such as:
Soil condition
Weather
Crop stage
Local agricultural conditions
Farming practices
Professional agricultural advice
BHUDEVI does not guarantee any particular crop yield, financial return, or agricultural result.
9. Scan Records and Scan History
BHUDEVI may create a scan record when an eligible plant/crop analysis is successfully completed.
A scan record may contain information such as:

Plant/crop information
Scientific name
English/Kannada name
AI result
Confidence information
Symptoms
Recommendations
Scan date
Related account and location information where applicable
The application may display a limited number of recent scans in the farmer's history, while historical scan information may continue to be retained in BHUDEVI systems according to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
10. Retention and Use of Scan Images
BHUDEVI may retain historical scan information and associated images for purposes including:
Maintaining scan history
Improving BHUDEVI services
Improving AI-based agricultural analysis
Research and development
System quality and performance improvement
Where applicable, retained information may be de-linked or de-identified from personal profile information.
Any retention and use of personal data remains subject to applicable law and the BHUDEVI Privacy Policy.
The current V1 implementation may not permanently store the original-resolution image for every scan. The technical implementation may use compressed representations and transient processing of the original image. The final storage architecture may be updated as BHUDEVI develops its services.
11. Location Information
Village and Taluk information may be manually entered or selected by the farmer.
BHUDEVI does not use GPS coordinates for farmer profile registration.
Certain location-related permissions may be requested where required for location-dependent services.
The current V1 scan record does not populate actual GPS coordinates.
12. Weather Information
BHUDEVI may display weather information obtained through external weather services or APIs.
Weather information is provided for informational and agricultural assistance purposes.
BHUDEVI does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, availability, or uninterrupted operation of third-party weather information.
13. Third-Party Services
BHUDEVI may use third-party technology and service providers to operate certain application functions.
These may include services such as:

Firebase App Check

Google Gemini / Vertex AI
External weather services or APIs

15. Account Correction and Deletion

16. Acceptable Use

Interfere with application functionality.

17. Intellectual Property
BHUDEVI, including its software, branding, logos, interface designs, graphics, content, systems, and related intellectual property, is owned by or licensed to BINTECAGRO Pvt Ltd, unless otherwise stated.
You may use the application for its intended personal agricultural purposes.
No ownership rights in BHUDEVI intellectual property are transferred to you through your use of the application.
18. User-Submitted Content
You retain applicable rights in content that you submit to BHUDEVI.
By submitting plant/crop images and related information, you provide BHUDEVI with the permissions necessary to process, analyze, store, improve the service, and perform the functions described in these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
BHUDEVI will handle such information according to its Privacy Policy and applicable law.
19. Service Availability
BHUDEVI is provided on an evolving technology platform.
The application may occasionally experience:

Server or cloud-service interruptions

BHUDEVI does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of every feature.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, mobile number, OTPs, and account access.
You should never share an OTP with another person.

BHUDEVI may restrict, suspend, or terminate access where reasonably necessary, including in cases of:

Fraudulent or abusive activity
Attempts to compromise application security
Illegal use
Misuse of AI or application services
Activities that may harm BHUDEVI, other users, or third-party services

23. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, BINTECAGRO Pvt Ltd will not be responsible for losses arising solely from reliance on:

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Subject to applicable law and any mandatory jurisdiction prescribed by law, any legal proceeding, dispute, claim, or legal action arising out of or relating to BHUDEVI, these Terms, or the services provided by BINTECAGRO Pvt Ltd shall be instituted and dealt with before the competent courts having jurisdiction in Chikkaballapur, Karnataka, India.
Nothing in this clause is intended to restrict any jurisdiction that cannot legally be excluded or any statutory forum or authority that is required to have jurisdiction under applicable law.

BHUDEVI uses Firebase Crashlytics for crash and diagnostic reporting.
Depending on the technical service configuration, diagnostic information may include information necessary to identify application crashes, errors, performance problems, or affected application environments.
4. Camera, Photo/Gallery and Other Permissions
BHUDEVI may request permissions required for specific application functions.

6. Artificial Intelligence Processing
BHUDEVI uses artificial intelligence technology, including Google Gemini / Vertex AI services, to analyze plant/crop images.
For the current AI request flow, information sent for analysis includes:

Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions (MIME) type of the image
Selected application language
The current AI request does not require the farmer's complete profile information to perform the image analysis.
AI processing may produce information such as:

AI results are not guaranteed to be accurate and should not be treated as professional agricultural diagnosis.
7. Use of Scan Images for AI Improvement
BHUDEVI may retain scan images and associated scan information for purposes including:
Improving AI-based plant/crop analysis.
Training or improving AI systems where legally permitted.
Research and development.
Improving service quality.
Evaluating system performance.
Where appropriate, information may be de-linked or de-identified from personal profile information before or during such use.
The use and retention of images remain subject to applicable law and the applicable rights and requirements relating to personal data.
8. Current Image-Storage Implementation
The current BHUDEVI V1 implementation does not establish that every original-resolution scan image is permanently stored.
The current scan flow processes the full-resolution image for AI analysis and stores a compressed image representation in the scan record, while the original image may remain transient during processing.
BHUDEVI may subsequently introduce or expand permanent image-storage functionality as the platform develops.
Any such changes will be reflected in the applicable privacy disclosures where required.
9. Scan Data Retention
BHUDEVI may retain historical scan information for operational, analytical, research, AI improvement, security, and service-development purposes.
Recent scans may be displayed in the farmer's application history, while older scan information may remain in backend systems.
Retention periods may depend on:
The type of information.
Operational requirements.
Security requirements.
AI/service improvement requirements.
Applicable legal requirements.
Personal profile information may be deleted when an account is deleted, subject to applicable law.
Historical scan information and associated images may continue to be retained where permitted or required, and may be de-linked or de-identified from personal profile information where appropriate.
10. Account Deletion
BHUDEVI intends to provide an account deletion mechanism through:

Once an account deletion process has been successfully completed, the deleted personal account data cannot be restored or retrieved through BHUDEVI.
Personal profile information will be deleted or handled according to the applicable deletion process.
After account deletion, BHUDEVI may retain the BHUDEVI ID associated with the deleted user solely where necessary to identify or maintain reports, historical scan records, or other records associated with the deleted customer, subject to applicable law and the applicable retention policy.
The retained BHUDEVI ID will not by itself be treated as restoration of the deleted personal profile.
Certain historical scan information and associated images may remain where retention is permitted or required by applicable law, legitimate operational requirements, security requirements, AI/service-improvement requirements, or other lawful purposes.
Where appropriate, retained historical information will be de-linked or de-identified from the deleted personal account.
Account deletion is irreversible through BHUDEVI. Users should therefore ensure that they have obtained or saved any information they are legally entitled to access before completing account deletion.
11. Profile Information and Access
Your profile information is available through the relevant profile functionality within BHUDEVI.
You may update eligible information through Edit Profile.
BHUDEVI does not currently provide a separate “Request My Data” feature because applicable profile information is made available through the application's existing profile functionality.
Users may contact BHUDEVI regarding applicable data rights or requests through the published contact information.
12. Third-Party Services
BHUDEVI uses third-party services to operate certain functions.

BHUDEVI V1 does not currently provide payment or subscription functionality within the application.
If payment or subscription functionality is introduced in the future, the relevant privacy disclosures will be updated as required.
15. Data Security
BINTECAGRO Pvt Ltd uses reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information processed through BHUDEVI.
These may include application authentication, backend access controls, Firebase security mechanisms, App Check, and other security measures appropriate to the system.
However, no internet-connected system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users should protect their devices, registered mobile numbers, and OTPs.
16. Data Sharing and Disclosure
BHUDEVI may share or allow access to information with service providers where necessary to:
